Hello there! My name is Brad Greentree, and I'm an expert hypnotherapist. Today, I'd like to share with you a case study on using the Milton Model, a powerful tool for creating a deep state of relaxation and achieving your desired outcomes.

Before we dive into the case study, let me introduce myself. I have been practising hypnotherapy since 2006 and have helped countless individuals overcome various challenges, including anxiety, stress, phobias, and addiction. My approach to hypnotherapy is client-centred, meaning I tailor each session to my clients' unique needs and goals.

Now, let's talk about the Milton Model. This is a language pattern developed by Dr Milton Erickson, a renowned psychiatrist and hypnotherapist. The Milton Model uses language in a specific way to bypass the conscious mind and access the subconscious, where our beliefs, emotions, and behaviours are rooted.

In the case study I'd like to share with you, I worked with a client struggling with insomnia. She had tried many different approaches, including medication, but nothing seemed to work. During our first session, I used the Milton Model to guide her into deep relaxation and suggest positive affirmations to her subconscious mind.

Using the Milton Model, I used vague language, metaphors, and open-ended questions to bypass her conscious mind and access her subconscious. For example, instead of saying, "you will fall asleep quickly and easily," I said, "imagine yourself sinking into a soft, fluffy cloud and drifting off into a peaceful sleep." By using this type of language, I could make suggestions to her subconscious mind without triggering any resistance from her conscious mind.

After just a few sessions, my client reported sleeping better than in years. She felt more relaxed, calm, and centred during the day, and her overall quality of life had improved.
